Training

Over the past decade, the team at Quiz Worx have performed hundreds of live shows to thousands of kids all over Australia. Through this vast experience, they have seen the effectiveness of using creative tools (like puppetry, art, music & drama) to engage and communicate the Good News of Jesus to kids.

Quiz Worx have also seen the need to help equip and train other children’s workers with these creative tools as they seek to minister to children in their own local area.

Quiz Worx have developed a number of training seminars, including:

  • Jelly Bean Jam – Exploring a range of creative tools that can be used in ministries to children.
  • Puppetry – Basic puppetry skills and character development
  • Visual Aids – Teaching how to create visuals to those with limited artistic talent
  • Music Using music and actions to engage with kids, teaching through song
  • Chalk Talks
  • Drama and Storytelling

There are two ways Quiz Worx can provide training:

1. Training Seminar (1-2 hours)

Designed for a local church, those in the congregation who are involved in children’s ministry are encouraged to attend where they will be trained by the Quiz Worx team in 1 or 2 skills.

2. Region-wide Training Day

Primarily organised by a church or team of churches in conjunction with Quiz Worx, children’s workers living within the region are encouraged to attend. The day’s program will provide opportunities to meet with and encourage fellow workers, learn more skills and choose from a range of seminars on offer. These region-wide training days are usually incorporated into the Saturday of a Quiz Worx tour to a specific area.

Our 'Pay What You Can' pricing model allows those who have more to pay more, and those who have less to pay less.

The suggested price range (excluding GST) for a Training Seminar is:

$400 – $800

What people are saying

  • I’ve been to numerous shows by Quiz Worx, and have just completed a week of work experience with them. Their focus on Jesus is so admirable, and the way they present their work is engaging, and teaches the audience really well. The staff are amazing outside of shows, and they have the biggest heart for God. I absolutely adore their work, and cannot recommend them highly enough!

  • It's always my favourite scripture day of the year when you come to visit! Thanks for a fantastic show as always!! I had my 4 year old and 2 year old with me today and they have requested the "Merry Christmas Jesus" song in the car already! Thanks for being such a blessing in all you do.

  • I watched a Quizworx production for years 1-3 this morning as a parent and as an RI instructor for the school my children attend. I enjoyed watching the show too. I often looked around the room to see how the children were enjoying it, and at every moment they were all glued to what was going on up on the stage. They laughed and giggled in the funny spots, and joined in during the dancing time. I think the message of Jesus and Christmas was perfectly delivered, in an easy to understand way.

  • So happy. My son has watched your Quizworx DVD"Jesus Brings Good Things To Kids" for the hundredth time (not quite) since he received it as a gift from his Kid's Church, and just then I heard him quoting from the lounge room at the end of the Zaccheus film clip "for the son of man came to save that which was lost"! You've nailed it guys, my child is learning Scriptural truths that will take this 4 y/o into the rest of his God given life. THANK YOU for quality resources with quality truths.
