Associate Program at Quiz Worx

Quiz Worx exists to share Jesus with kids everywhere, primarily through performing creative live shows in schools, churches and communities all around Australia. We are committed to raising up more workers to share the Good News with kids and providing them with the training and foundation they’ll need for a lifetime of presenting the Good News to kids (and adults) in creative, engaging and faithful ways.

The Quiz Worx Associate Program is for people who love Jesus and want to share Jesus with kids in a fun, memorable and faithful way. This program is available to those who have completed the equivalent of at least one year of full-time theological study.

During this one year program, you will receive intensive, practical training in puppetry and upfront skills, be trained to teach SRE/RI, and learn how to write and deliver faithful, engaging Biblical talks for kids.

Following your initial training, you will be sent out with experienced team members to perform shows in schools, churches and communities all over Australia.

The Associate Program offers a genuine window into life and ministry at Quiz Worx. As you serve alongside our team, you’ll gain a clear picture of the work, while we get to know you and your gifts. It’s a valuable year of discernment for both sides, exploring a possible long-term future together.

Important Information about the role:

• The Associate role is Full time (5 days a week).
• New Associates begin in mid-January and the role runs through to 31 December of the same year.
• You will be based in either our Yagoona, NSW or Helensvale, QLD office and have opportunities to teach SRE/RI in a local school/s.
• Travel is required as you will be sent on tour to regional communities throughout the year.
• This is a support-raising role and you will be responsible for raising 100% of your remuneration each year. Quiz Worx will provide training and support to help you in this.
• Associates must have the right to work in Australia, and will need a valid Working With Children Check to be employed.

The ideal Associate will have:

• A deep passion to know Christ and make Him known, especially to kids.
• A mature Christian faith and be actively involved in a Christian Church.
• Completed the equivalent of at least one year of full-time theological study.
• A teachable, positive attitude and be willing to learn.
• The ability to work well within a team.
• Taken part in at least one Christmas season with Quiz Worx previously.
