Presents! Food! Family! Is that what Christmas is REALLY about? That’s the question that the Quiz Worx team will answer this Christmas.
We're excited to share with you our new Christmas video, Christmas is Bigger! With puppets, stories and a catchy song, this fun video shares the amazing news of the Bible; that Christmas is BIGGER than all of those things! Christmas is about remembering Jesus, who came to make a way for people to be friends with God forever!
This 22-min video is ideal for use in SRE (NSW) and RI (QLD) classes and assemblies. It is recommended by the creators of Beginning with God, Connect, Big Questions and GodSpace, and supports the learning outcomes of these curricula.
It can also be used by Non-Government Schools, in Church or even just at home.
This video is age appropriate and sensitive... [and] recognises student culture in contemporary Australia. The assembly style lesson is engaging, as seen on the students’ expressions. The song teaches the main idea, and the actions are enthusiastically done by the students. It will be a positive addition to the students’ learning.
Lynda Mulder, SRE Training and Curriculum Development
This is a very entertaining presentation. The energy of the live performance, the laughter and shouts of the children is absolutely contagious.
Adam Jolliffe, Youthworks Children's Ministry and Primary SRE Advisor
The song "Christmas is bigger" is easy to learn and loads of fun. At about 22 minutes, this very engaging presentation is ideal for use for a Christmas lesson in schools.
